A world in the making

A little Harbor.
In your place.

One shared table. A few remarkable objects.
A reason to sit down together.

BOX-IN brings the world of XO Harbor into a gallery, shop or welcoming local space — with stories to discover and a small encounter to take part in.

A shared place, with its own character

You bring a place.
We bring a little world.

A corner of an existing shop. A weekend in a gallery. A gathering hosted by someone who knows the neighbourhood.

The venue keeps its identity. Harbor adds a table, a small collection and a story that people can join. We start with the pieces that are ready and give each one room to be discovered. The setting can grow as the collection does.

At the heart of the room

The Round Table

A useful object.
A place for a shared story.

Round Table RT01 concept with warm oak, a green play surface, a reversible oak centre and a discreet brass maker plate.
RT01 · Concept awaiting construction and prototype assessment
The intention

Made to gather.
Made to travel.

Warm oak, a reversible cloth-and-oak centre and a discreet maker’s mark. A table for shared play, conversation and everyday use.

The first practical step

A furniture maker’s assessment of construction, seating comfort, disassembly, packed size and prototype cost.

The working study is approximately 150 cm across and 75 cm high. Dimensions, seating capacity and access around the table still need to be tested. Seating and accessories are a separate part of the brief.

Could you help make it?

A Boat in the Mist

XO

The world & the kit

Character stories, an agreed selection of objects or samples, the encounter, display guidance and a short host introduction.

The local host

The place & the welcome

A suitable space, local knowledge and someone to welcome visitors during the agreed hours. Marco does not need to be there throughout.

Together

The practical details

Dates, access, transport, assembly, care, insurance, local requirements and any costs or sales terms. Confirmed for each location.

Every stop adds a chapter. We are developing a record of each piece’s making, condition, care and travels through XO Methods. The first pilot will help us learn what works in practice.

The first chapter

Small enough
to make real.

A table, the first Timekeeper and a handful of stories are enough to begin a conversation.

The table is at concept and maker-assessment stage. Collectibles, cards and knitwear are in development. Locations are being explored; no opening date is confirmed here.

Our first pop-up follows prototype and sample readiness. A larger shop and a reusable format for other makers can grow from what this first chapter teaches us.

Could Harbor
come to you?

Have a space, know a host, or make furniture that could help the first chapter happen? Tell us a little about it.

We can start with a simple conversation about fit, timing and what is possible.
